My name is Halie Parker. I am currently a Senior at North Carolina State University, majoring in Textile Design. I also had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Milan, Italy at Istituto Europeo di Design.

         I have been involved in art my whole life, having a graphic designer as a mother and an architect as a father, design has always surrounded me. 

          As a designer, I enjoy working with detailed linear patterns with a blend of organic and geometric motifs. I love to play with color, from dark natural shades, to pastels, to monochromatic pallets. Throughout my classes at NCSU I have woven, knitted, printed, and hand dyed my custom designs using Computer Aided Design system, EAT Jacquard Weaving System, Photoshop and Illustrator, and Shima Seiki Whole Garment Knitting Machine.
